The conference will be held in the Observatory of Rome, in the town of Monte Porzio Catone (20 Km from Rome). All the Conference hotels are located in Frascati. A free, daily shuttle service will be available  for the participants to reach the Observatory from Frascati in the morning and the way back in the afternoon. ​The bus will leave at 8.30 am from Piazza Marconi (see map below).

Here are the instructions to reach Frascati by Fiumicino airport: 

TRAIN CONNECTION FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT TO FRASCATI
A train service ("Leonardo express") connects Fiumicino airport to the main station of Rome, Roma Termini, in 30 minutes. The service is rather frequent (one train any 20-30 minutes).
The cost per person is 14 euro. From Roma Termini there is a train connection, reaching Frascati in 30 minutes. The cost is 2.10 euro/person. During the week (including saturday) there is a train to Frascati at 8:54, then one train each hour, from 11:54 to 20:54. On sundays there is a train each two hours, from 9:54 to 19:54. The latter train service can be used also by people reaching Rome by train. All the hotels but Villa Mercede are at short walking distance from Frascati station. Villa Mercede can be reached either with a 20 minutes walk or by taxi.

TAXI SERVICE
If you prefer to reach Frascati by taxi, we will arrange a taxi transportation from the airport to your hotel, at the price of 65 euro. This option is particularly convenient if you are travelling two or more (the price is not per person). We suggest to use this possibility in stead of the ordinary taxi service, as it is cheaper and safer. If you are interested to this option, please write to lithiumintheuniverse@gmail.com, specifying the number of your flight, the departure town and the landing time. Please provide also a mobile number, as the taxi driver will call you in case that you don't meet immediately at the airport. You will receive a confirmation message with the detailed instructions on how to meet with your driver. The taxi option is also available from Ciampino airport. In this case the price will be 40 euro.
